Flowers in French Pots

Original Zinc Containers for Cut Flowers & Plants. Originally used for the storage of abundant home produce including jams, preserves and pates, French confiture pots gained popularity in the 1800's and were made from various different forms of ceramic.

In our contemporary homes these items continue to have an intrinsic aesthetic and can be adorned with flowers and wild herbs or filled with potpourri.  They also look great in a room placed together as a collection or individually.

I like to fill my confiture pots with fresh cut flowers and to place them around the home.
