An original peanut shaped Swedish root bowl hand crafted from a tree root with remnants of original salmon pink tone paint to the exterior and old white and cream to the interior.
The item has an original aged patina with areas of loss and wear due to age. It has house marks carved on the base recording its long line of owners over the years being passed down through the family generations.
A rare surviving piece of folk art fit for a period or contemporary interior.
